Fundraising

WSHS PTSA funds are used to help our students and teachers through programs, scholarships, and publications.  When you support the PTSA through your membership dues and our fundraising activities, you help us improve our school and community.

Direct Drive

The PTSA board has decided to again this year rely on direct giving. We have found that families are pleased when learning that every dollar donated is spent directly on the enrichment of West Seattle High School students and staff. Donate directly today and show your support!

Events

The PTSA will occasionally hold events with the goal of community and fundraising. Families are asked to attend and participate in raffles and raise-the-paddle activities. Information about these events is shared in the weekly What’s Up Westside newsletter. If you have questions about the events, email the president.

West Seattle 5K

The West Seattle 5K is one of the big fundraisers that the PTSA is presenting this year.  See the West Seattle 5K info page for more information.

eScrip Program

eScrip is a fundraising program that allows merchants to donate directly to the PTSA based on purchases you make at the store. Once you register, every time you use your existing loyalty cards or credit cards, these merchants will donate a percentage of your expenditures to the PTSA. It’s quick, simple, and free!  Register right now!

To Register for eScrip:

• At www.escrip.com, click on “Welcome”, then “Sign Up” to begin.
• Click Group ID, then enter the group you would like to support (West Seattle High School PTSA, Group ID 8567836).  Click on the group name, then click “Next”.
• Enter your name and address. NOTE that it asks for your e-mail address, however, this field can be left blank.
