Ways You Can Get Involved
Calling all West Seattle Neighborhood Families! Do you like to be involved? Do you want to be part of building our great community at WSHS? Perhaps you are good with numbers, or have a talent for planning events. Maybe you are a person who enjoys reaching out to others, or who can navigate their way around a website. Whatever your talents and interests are, the WSHS PTSA is always looking for good people to volunteer for our school. We would love to have your input!
Volunteering at WSHS
Please consider the following volunteer opportunities that make an important difference for WSHS students. Contact president@wshsptsa.org with your interest and any questions or further descriptions of the positions.
PTSA Officers (requires monthly meetings, occasional events, and follow-up between meetings). Officers are elected by the General Membership in May.

PTSA Appointed Committee Chairs and Board Members (requires monthly meetings, occasional events, and follow-up between meetings). Board members are appointed by the President.

- Building Leadership Team (BLT) Representative
- Representatives of Special Populations
Volunteers
The WSHS PTSA needs your help. Whether you can volunteer for a couple of days per month or an occasional hour–your time, skills, and resources are needed by the PTSA to support students and the school. Your help makes it possible for the PTSA to engage the school community and raise/disperse funds.
